On my 08 3.6 Vogue, the FBH would run when starting a cold engine if the ambient temp was under 5deg.

JMC, I don't know whether it's relevant that my car hasn't been started for a few weeks but the last couple of days when starting with a cold engine, the FBH has shrouded my street with a smoke cloud and the outside temperature was about 8-10 degrees.

Smoke mean late ignition. If not use long time its normal at first start. If its continue, burning chamber need to replace (evaporator fault, not serviceble). |
