I’m looking to retrofit Auto High Beam Assist to my 2012 5.0. The 4.4 has it and it’s quite a nice feature.

Does anybody have the part number for the mirror by any chance as my eBay searches aren’t finding much when looking for AHB Mirror, etc. aren’t turning much up.

The Auto-dim mirror as standard is LR024336. The one with buttons for garage doors and gates etc on the correct UK frequency (433.9) is LR024346. Let us know how you get on as I'm also on the look out for an auto mirror myself. Andy

I had the part number from that site but everyone lists parts secondhand using the engineering numbers that are stamped on the mirrors rather then the part number which makes finding second hand ones difficult.

Engineering numbers usually begin AH42- or something similar to that.

I just imported a rear view mirror with High Beam Assist sensor from the US. Engineering number is AH42-17E678-BC. Seem easier to find in the US, you just have to swap over the Homelink internals which takes 1 minute.

I think you bought the one I had on my watch list on eBay

My car doesn’t have the HomeLink feature so I need one that came from a UK car if I want to add the HomeLink feature.

I’m not in any rush so I’ll keep on looking.

To be honest, I’m not sure it’s 100% worth adding as our other 2012 AB has it and it can be slow to react on that car.
