Get a HIGH pressure smoke test done. That will show you your leak - could be split inlet manifold (they are known for it)

As above, smoke test to see if you have a split hose/plenum or manifold.
You'll find a load of info on here using the "Search" button on the cause of RP
I'd be checking the 4 inlet hoses are the upgraded silicone ones as a quick and easy first step.
P040D is the exhaust manifold temp sensor on passenger side and doubt it's related to the RP from forum history. See "Wiki" page for how to replace that sensor. It's a bitch of a job. I got a specialist to do it. Use MMP in Dundee (Mike Park).

My 2012 Westminster was doing the same thing a few weeks ago. I got the sensor replaced, which was the egt sensor in the manifold, but the restricted performance message came back. The PO40D code didn’t come back though Laughing

I made the mistake of not previously code grabbing with the fault ‘live’. I hope you’ve done this, because the PO40D is a common one and rarely the cause of running problems.

In my case the live code grab came back with P2264-OO (2F) water in fuel sensor circuit so I’m replacing filter and sensor as soon as it warms up.

Good luck!

I've stolen Ninos picture to help explain.

The pipes shown by the red arrow are vacuum pipes, they are prone to perishing/collapsing.Check that they are all in place because when they perish they can either collapse under vacuum or slip off their fitting. It sounds like your problem is the turbo change over actuator, switches at 2500rpm and if it can't the car goes into restricted performance.
I have a 2012 Westminster and mine has just done the same as yours and my problem was the vacuum pipes coming off.Might be something else completely but it costs you nothing to check them. Thumbs Up

MAP is manifold absolute pressure..
Try cleaning the MAPT (Manifold absolute pressure and temperature) sensor.
5 minute job and costs nothing, so nothing to loose.
It’s the one sitting in the plenum.

Also check the MAF sensors on the air filter box outlets. The error may refer to a mismatch between the actual air mass measured by them and the calculated airmass from pressure (MAP), temp and RPM. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Hi managed to remove the donut plenum and check for leaks etc but didn’t find any or the 4 hoses was shocked with the amount of carbon build up inside the plenum got it cleaned up as good as new and took it for a blast went over 2500rpm with no restricted performance warning so hopefully it was the amount of gunk inside that was doing it I cleaned all sensors I could also so thanks for the advice and help 👍

Nice. As a matter of interest have you checked that your cross over valve for turbos at base of radiator has been upgraded from the early “nut” design? You can just about see it if you peer down the radiator area off centre right. Plenty of info on here. Search CSOV Thumbs Up
