New (to me) 5.0 V8

Having recently sold my SDV8, I found this late '67 plate 5.0.

It's a one owner, FSH 35k mile car in Aruba with Espresso/Ivory. It has an SVO bodykit from new and I enjoyed a decent run in it to North Devon at the weekend. Slightly firmer ride on 22's (and maybe the dynamic suspension) but a lovely thing (to me - I realise some might find the bodykit and chocolate-resistant leather a bit Marmite Laughing )

Just had the gearbox, transfer box and diff fluids changed (dynamic response filter was done at last service).

Very pleased so far and it can certainly hustle along, to the surprise of my passengers the first time we joined a motorway!

That's a very nice find. Those contrasting interior colours work well imo.

The reg number instantly brings to mind a certain brand of 'value' shotgun! Laughing

Thank you. The first owner was Ukrainian so I think it’s a ref to Lake Baikal - but you might also be right

I know - struck me as odd too. But that’s what the dealer was told…

Very nice indeed, I just so want a 5.0 supercharged, so jealous. Your reg stands out a fair bit I may just see you around Bristol. Is it me or do your wheels look like they been curbed?

Absolutely beautiful interior - that’s how a Range Rover should be - a FFRR should be like a gentleman’s club, loads of wood and sumptuous leather - a very rare find as most are either all ebony interior or all cirrus. Well done Thumbs Up 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17
