Thumbs Up
The styling is not to my taste but it looks in fantastic condition and the price was very reasonable for the mileage and spec and should be a good long term keeper. Despite it’s low miles I’d still get it to a good Indy LR specialist for a thorough inspection. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

That is bloody lovely and the upgrades make it look much newer imo , wheels are superb, one of the best I have seen to be honest. overfinch modified

Looks like a cracking car. Health to drive Steve. I got mine in January with 53k miles and it was pampered. I drove it for 3 months, then as suggested above, I booked it in for a thorough checkout and got the diff oils changed, transfer box fluid changed, oil changed. And I got the arch liners. Removed, underside cleaned down and undersealed. Thankfully the guys said it was clean as a whistle underneath which was reassuring. The garage recommended holding off doing the gearbox oil change with the flush as it has only 56k miles but I will probably get it done at 60k just because the oil is 11 years oil in there.

Hi all,

Thanks for the kind replies. I have a health check booked in at my local indy on 11th May. We will discuss ongoing preventative maintenance during this. I mentioned having a gearbox megaflush. I got the view they felt too soon, but we can discuss this.

Was planning on GG at3 all round, but the Pirelli Scorpion Zeros are in fantastic condition, so no rush to change. Another idea was OEM rubber mat set (£200 from Rimmer bro) but it has a brand new set already...

One thing which is curious, the wheels are, as have been noted by others, really nice. The spare is the same and unused. Though it looks a little darker in colour?? It is my understanding that all 5 are Style 18 Shadow Chrome. The other 4 look lighter in colour. I will get some pics next week and post here.

And one more thing, the rear wiper blade doesn't disappear how it should when not in use. It can be seen as its about 2" below where it should be??

My rear wiper hangs down a little too Steve. I think I recall seeing YouTube video about fixing this. I think it's wear on the splines that attach the wiper arm to the motor.

Design pack really works on black cars. Lovely example!

I too have the same rear wiper issue, it doesn’t hang that low but is visable to one side.
Need to take a look also!

Regarding gearbox megaflush they might well be correct.

See the thread on off topic other cars.

I,m now in the opinion of a drain and refill when needed. overfinch modified

What colour are the alloys? My spare never used seems darker than the 4 fitted. Shadow chrome 4.4 TDV8 Sumatra Black + Ivory Leather

Yes shadow chrome. I’ve not got a full size spare to compare and I literally just had my wheels refurbed last week. I was told by the wheel refurb company that, getting the shadow chrome to match is quite difficult because they powder coat the wheel gloss black then have to count the amount of layers of chrome effect paint they put on top. That’s why I got all 4 done. The colour does change depending on the angle/ lighting - sometimes they look silver / grey / very reflective chrome Laughing

Noted. I will take the spare out and put it next to one of the wheels and take pics. Upload in next day or 2.

Shadow chrome is the best option in my opinion 4.4 TDV8 Sumatra Black + Ivory Leather
