So after more than 3 months, and reading just about everything I could on here and elsewhere, I have a new to me L322, MY 2012 with 50k miles. Wow what a car, and definitely worth the wait.

But yes, until you see pics, you won't believe me...

Pics to follow, and once again thanks to all those who have made the whole searching process and gaining just a bit of knowledge in the meantime so very worth it. And for answering my dull questions....

Lots planned in the form of ongoing preventative maintenance, starting with a gearbox mega flush and transfer box.....more to follow.

Was set to drive around the corner and visit Rimmer brothers which is 500 yards away and get some OEM rubber mats. The car had them when I saw it first thing this morning!! Cool.

Was also asking questions on here about getting a full size spare. It has one already. Never used. The final thumbs up came in the form of a decent warranty, and 5 virtually brand new Pirelli Scorpion Zeros. I was planning on an immediate swap to GG AT3s but I think that can wait!

So at this stage, very happy....

It was 3rd time lucky in this case. The first I saw I didn't even get in it. Awful. The second I got in and actually drove it. Not for me either...

But this one was lovely. So onwards and upwards and looking forward to FFRR ownership.
