I've got 33g of soot that is not shifting at all when doing a forced regen via gap iid

I've also got a dpf pressure sensor error and it is reading as N/A on live values. Will this error stop dpf regens from taking place?

I've disconnected my dpf pressure sensor from all of the pipes and gentle blew backwards towards the dpf
....both pipes were clear although there was alittle bit of fluid in one of the pipes.

I ran the iid tool on the dpf sensor with all pipes disconnected and still got a pressure reading of N/A.....is the sensor bad.....and would a bad sensor stop the regen from happening?

The GAP IID will not give you a Kpa reading, only a voltage reading. Read the workshop manual....

I was able to clear a red DPF as follows:

1. Fit new DPF differential pressure sensor. its actually a Ford Part... I bought mine from Duckworths, but they are considerably cheaper on eBay. Don't fit it yet!!!

2. Buy 2 liters of DPF cleaner from Launch UK. Use 1 Liter neat and use https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151206900010 Sealey VS70095 Transmission Oil Filling System 3ltr to fill the 1 Liter Launch UK fluid into the DPF via the hose that connects to the DPF Differential Pressure Sensor. There are two pipes lading from the DPF Pressure Sensor to the DPF. One pipe goes to the front of the DPF and one pipe gose to the rear of the DPF. There are two rubber hoses that connect to the DPF Sensor on therse pipes, each with a slightly different internal diameter. The hose with the larger diameter openeoing is the one that should lead to the front of the DPF... DOUBLE CHECK THIS!!!

3. Once you have injected the first liter of neat Launch fluid into the DPF then fit the DPF Sensor.

4. IMPORTANT! Let the Launch fluid soak in the DFPF for at l2east 30 minutes.

5. Use the GAP IID tool to reset the DPF (New DPF fitted.

6. Start the car and run the revs at 2000 to 2500 revs until there is no more smoke coming from the exhaust. This can take up to 30 muinutes.

7. Now use the 2nd liter of Launch fluid diluted 1:1 with water, and inject that 2 liter of fliuid into the DPF as above using the Sealey pump and let it soak again for 30 mins.

8. Reset the DPF again using the Gap Tool and run the engine again at 2000 to 2500 revs until there are no more clouds of smoke coming from the exhausts.

9. When the smoke has cleared, take the car for a 20 minute drive monitoring te DPF as you drive.

The above worked for with a red DPF.

Note: I had a so called DPF specialist attend who claimed to have cleaned the DPF properly using a different fluid. It filled up again very quickly...
