rear camera in a 2005 range rover hse

Is it possible to activate the rear camera input on the touch screen?

technically it would be possible, albeit you would need a Faultmate to activate it. From what I've read, the problem is finding a camera (OEM one), if not, the other solution would be GVIF + Any other rear view camera. you need to switch it on in the CCF [car configuration file]..apparently dealers cant do it but autologic and faulmate can..

as you probably already know there are 3 inputs on the back of the screen ,one of which is a rear camera input..you can fit an aftermarket nstc camera and hopefully activate it giving you an additional reversing aid.. ..

afaik you cant do anything about the 'acceptance' screen but the destination in motion can be done by a dealer so autologic should be able as well...

Well i removed the whole bulb assembely to make room for the camera. The camera doesnt have a light in it. Was hoping some knew the exact type of resister to put between the wires. Dont like the idea of a bulb in there because of the heat and possiblity of melting the wires.
