A few possible options here. Does the remaining AirPod stick to a magnet on a stick? If so, use a flexible one and have a poke about, there's only so far it can have gone. The other is that you could use a small endoscope (they're cheap on eBay and a handy tool to have) to see where it's gone and then use a claw to grab it (I've got 600mm long flexible magnet with a claw on the end that's very useful when you've dropped something in the engine bay, or worse). I'm unfamiliar with pulling the seat apart though. Good luck finding it either way! |

You could first try your luck by removing the plastic hinge cover. It's held in place by 3 philips screws. Then perhaps you could shine a torch and try to fish the airpod out with a cloth hanger wire or something similar. Happy fishing |

Good luck! Hopefully you won't have to remove anything more than the plastic trim. It has a tab that hugs the latching mechanism; don't be afraid to force / bend the whole thing. It might be more of a pita to refit and leave you with two sore index fingers though. Ask me how I know |
