On the old style centre screen on the top left there are 3 small oblong warning lights for the phone

Im interested in your reply, as I dont want to use the phone, but cannot work out how to turn the red flashing light off. My phone has no sim and I have pressed the power buttom off.

If you remove the telephone loom plug from the module in the rear near side that'll stop it |

It's the standard RR phone in the central console behind the handbrake. I have put a piece of tape over the light for now.
