Italy 2015 Range Rover Autobiography SDV6 Indus Silver
Dynamic Response Pro

Hi,

in your experience, how important is the active roll reduction system (Dynamic Response Pro), in a D350?

It used to be standard with this engine, but it has become a optional recently, included in the "Capability Plus Pack", together with the active differential with Torque Vectoring by Braking, and Configurable Programs.

Does this "Capability Plus Pack" make a real difference in your opinion? I come from a 2015 L405 AB.

Thanks in advance!

The Dynamic Response Pro option seems a bit of a mystery to me. Like you wrote, it used to be standard on Autobiography and certain engines. Also, the naming is sometimes with and sometimes without Pro. I have driven the P530 First Edition LWB, P530 HSE SWB, D350 AB SWB, P510e AB SWB, P550e AB SWB and recently a D250 AB SWB MY2023, which was probably the only one that did not have it, but I am not 100% sure as it handled very well. Maybe see if your dealer can't arrange two demo rides one with and one without the Dynamic Response Pro. I also have not found how you can tell the car has or hasn't got it, I checked some of the Topix buildsheets and it is not shown as such, nor is it shown in the LESS section. RR's that are part of my car timeline since I bought my first RR Classic in 1999:

I have driven a new D350 RRS both with and without this feature and it's noticeable. On the RRS, it's only available with the £5k 'Stormer Handling Pack' which also adds All Wheel Steering (which is standard on RR). For all we know, it could actually be the AWS which assists with handling.

All I would say is that the D350 RRS with this option tightens up massively in Dynamic mode and roll is pretty non-existent.

As an aside, the 6D Dynamics from the RRS SV and the Defender Octa is a total game changer though and I'd love for this setup to come to the Range Rover in due course...

I drove the SPORT SV with a professional driver at the wheel on the mountain roads behind Cannes and it was more than spectacular how the 6D Dynamics kept the car flat while negotiating high-speed hairpin corners. You would think that such technology would not be held back from other products and might trickle down the line as an option for less high-spec versions. I guess we will see it on the RANGE ROVER P615 SV first Wink RR's that are part of my car timeline since I bought my first RR Classic in 1999:
