The repairs I’ve tackled in this area were on older L322’s with rust opposed dents.

Appreciate it’s a bit of a trek from you, but this is the PDR chap I’ve used previously, knows his stuff and happy to recommend him.

Maybe worth a call if the distance isn’t prohibitive for you. Jonathan

Thanks man.

As is typical, after posting here I got a response from someone reasonably local to me and they've said the challenge is getting the required force because there's no leverage, which I can understand.

If that's the case and it's what's putting everyone else off the job then I'm happy to speak to your recommended chap and consider the trip if it's a valid option.

Cheers Smile

I have done lot of bodywork over the years, and find that if one has not done it before, then it takes a long time to find a method, make a tool, or find someone else who knows how. One needs a long bar with a short cranked end, ending on a polished ball to wiggle about against a fulcrum. Dentmasters use these type of tools, all the time, £100 a dent at last enquiry.

Managed to find a PDR guy that was willing to take the job and I'm pretty pleased with the result. He agreed it would be a case of best effort, and that's what I got. It's probably 80-90% removed and it doesn't catch the eye anymore.

Price was almost 1/3 what it would have cost for bodywork, which to me would not have been worth it given that the car has a few other very minor dings.

Thanks for all the advice everyone. Very glad to have got it sorted.
