I recommend NOT using the iiD tool for live regen monitoring! -because it’s potentially dangerous if you’re driving. As hrmallet mentions above, go to the “I’m a regeneration Nerd” thread he suggests, and familiarise yourself with what many others have learned:

I have the iiD G3 BT tool myself, but IMHO, it is NOT configurable enough to read on-the-fly in large-format bold text as you drive, and cannot give any audible alerts. The “Kot Kit” as we lovingly call it, (i.e. the little Vgate iCar Pro 4.0 BLE dongle with Car Scanner Pro App), is VERY cheap, highly configurable, and will give large-format visual and AUDIBLE alerts as you drive, -much, much safer!!!

DON’T risk crashing your car or potentially killing others, just trying to monitor regens! Shocked “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

I pair my IID tool to an IPAD, numbers are plenty big enough!

Or get a passenger to watch the numbers. You don't have to stare at them whilst driving. Rolling Eyes
