I thought exactly the same when I did mine a couple of weeks back, it was quite a way out, maybe not quite as much as yours but still noticeable 2011 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 Orkney Grey |

I see yours is a 2011 car, you would have thought that it would have been noticed and fixed as part of the facelift but clearly not!

If there’s not enough adjustment on the spoiler itself after loosening the three hex head bolts, it is possible to adjust the tailgate itself after loosening the hinge mounting bolts, but be cautious of introducing leaks as this can be an ingress point - can be mitigated with some suitable silicone sealer under the hinge before tightening back down. Thanks. I’d rather have uneven gaps over a leak so will leave as is! Seems like almost all L322’s have this issue to some degree. As mentioned it’s odd it wasn’t fixed by JLR over some point of the L322’s life, perhaps they didn’t fancy the cost of retooling.
