Struggling to get my 4.4 SDV8 to start.

It turns over but doesn’t start. The only indication I have to go on is the fuel pressure reading below.

That looks like the SDD screen. What all have you already checked?

My SDD skills are limited at best.

There was an error code for camshaft position sensor so I checked the wiring and replaced the sensor.

The fuel pump beneath the ECU under the bonnet makes a high pitch whining noise but I’m unsure if that’s because it’s receiving nothing from the fuel tank pumps or if it is broken.

I’m also going to replace the fuel filter as I’ve no idea when it was last done.

It needs a minimum of 150 BAR to start and 300 to idle (I think). The pressure port at the filter has to be in the range 4-7 BAR.

I also have a cranking, non-starting car so I am watching with interest. 2012 Vogue TDV8 in Aintree green over sand
