Put in 8.5 quarts oil exactly. Says overfilled?

I put exactly, and I mean exactly 8.5 quarts of oil in, after draining from underneath, removing filter, and waiting quite a while for it to drain. When I first checked the oil level, after waiting 15 min, it showed slightly one notch from max. Now today when I checked it, it says overfilled. Do I need to suck any oil out of it? Pull out .05 liter? Or am I worrying too much here? 2023 L460 Range Rover SE P400

8 liters =8.454 quarts

Is the gauge really that sensitive that I am technically overfilled by 1.6 oz?

My garage floor is flat, slightly off graded for water to stay out.

I have a pump and can easily suck out some oil.

Am I being overly paranoid? 2023 L460 Range Rover SE P400

If it’s easy enough todo, take out some and see if the message disappears. You’ll not affect the lubrication of the engine by taking 0.5 litre if it says over filled. V8 or else ...

Personally I like to keep the oil capacity slightly lower than full, it has so much oil in it because they want to keep the oil flowing when driving at silly steep angles, including side slopes. Anything over full and I'd suck some out, IMHO it will do more harm overfilled than slightly underfilled.... Thumbs Up Pete

Checked again today, same exact spot, and it no longer says overfilled. At least I have a dipstick on the 2023 RR P400.
