| RRPhil Member Since: 22 Aug 2011 Location: Blackburn, Lancashire Posts: 1044    | The most critical factor is that the engine must be ticking over while the level is set, otherwise the fluid in the torque converter drains down into the sump and produces an artificially high fluid level.
