After another favour

Just fitted some deployable steps to my 2016, (it had them from the factory but they had been removed) I’ve a hole for a bolt and a gap for a spacer (I assume) each side but there’s no thread, I’ve asked LR main dealer but they couldn’t help apart from trying to sell a fitting kit
Would anyone be able to take a picture of their fixing bolts so I can see what’s what?

Should there be a spacer between the step bracket and subframe hole?

I was hoping someone else would step up, but hey ho..... I took some pics but most of mine seems to be hidden behind a bit of plastic -

There's something the in front of the brackets -

Does the step need to be deployed top see what you need to ?

I should probably try deploying mine, they've been switched off for years..... Confused

Thanks Alistair it really is appreciated, I’ve not got the plastic ‘shield’ in your picture something else I better look into!

The step wasn’t deployed when I took the picture, I was laid under it doing the gearbox filter, it’s the furthest point of the mounting bracket away from the door if that makes sense 1972 Series 3 full of character

My first pic was taken from the front wheel looking backwards. I'm not sure I can provide anything more useful without starting to dismantle things
