Headliner question

Hi everyone,

I have a question: does a 2010 Autobiography headliner fit to a 2006 4,2L? Both have sunroofs. Mine is hanging so maybe upgrade to the leather item with additional mirors is an option.
Wiring is something to consider I realise.

All the best,

Martijn

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Buckingham Blue

Hi There,

I did this swap yesterday! A 2010 Autobiography headlining into my 2007 Supercharged. I had the lining, modules, handles, sunroof cover, everything except the pillar trim and sun visors

Honestly it was a pig of a job, took 4 of us to get the new headlining moved into place without pinching it. None of the guides or videos I could find was 100% correct. Whether this is down to model/year differences I can't say. Fiddliest part was the sunroof cover. The glass had to come out to release the sunshade, which in turn gives access to the rear sunroof headling screws.

While the lining is in and secured I'm in the process of putting all the other bits back in. There is no loom or wiring for the rear vanity lights, but the modules look the same. If you have any questions let me know.

J.

Hi J,

Very much appreciated!
I will have to see the new headliner if it is a nice enough example. If I take the plunge, I am certain to contact you for some advice.

All the best,

Martijn
