England 2013 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Luxor
[Wanted] "R"

I got a set of letters from another member and put tape on myself but I either mislaid or didn't get one of the "R"s in RANGE ROVER its a long shot but has anyone got one they can send me. (it was 5 years ago so not exactly a rush job!!)

I'm also not sure of the colour if I need to order one is it Noble Chrome or Satin Silver or any other colour I will try powerful but they only have complete sets of their website.

Thanks to chicb I had the letters I needed, sun was shining so I made a start, not having a luxurious heated large garage I had to stop when the heavens opened. Now drinking tea and contemplating getting started again -if it ever stops. I wait 5 years and then 20mins of rain brings things to a halt Big Cry Geoff

Well Powerful did advise me that the 322 template was unsuitable for a 405 and offered me my 8 quid back I kept it because I had a cunning plan Very Happy

So it started out like this:



and finished like this:


My plan was to not use the template but just individual letters after cutting it up and sticking tape across the top to form a hinge, then remove the letters and fix the new ones in place, templates are never a good fit so I used the bottom left hand corner as a datum.





My plan was ruined when it rained and the template turned to paper mache so I had to do it by sight alone. It wasn't't bad but the OCD part of my brain said the "E" in RANGE isn't right, the dominant side of my brain said Censored it it'll do and I think it will - for now! Geoff
