Sounds like a faulty height sensor. Maybe it was disturbed while changing the alternator or if the car was on a lift and the suspension fully extrended it may have gone beyond it's normal working range ( for it's age) Check the linkages and also check the height values in the GAP IID tool. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

let us know how you go, i have to change my alternator, the red battery light came on, its off at the moment but it must be faulty i think
