hi everyone this is my first post so dont hit me to hard lols
i have a 2004 l322 4.4 v8 last few days my engine management light has came on a few times
i have cleared the fault with my rsw allcomms kit but after8-10 miles it comes back on the faults are as follows


O2 sensor heater circuit bank 1 upstream sensor fault. Last occurrence - maximum signal

Lambda control adaption exceeds lower limit bank 1. Last occurrence - maximum signal

Lambda control adaption exceeds lower limit bank 2. Last occurrence - maximum signal

any ideas of the way forward  1990 3.5 v8 defender
2000 4.6 v8 30th anniversary prins lpg
2004 4.4 v8 vogue prins lpg
2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue

hows your breather pips at the back of the engine, are they good and firm or have they gone all soft..how does it run, any missing V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Did the light come on shortly after refuelling and if so did you put crappy petrol in it?

If I fill up with ssome upermarket rubbish or low octane French stuff the engine light sometimes comes on and shows a Lambda fault. Refilling with decent stuff clears the light.

I've never had a problem with Texaco or Shellfuel. The Tesco 99 stuff seems ok too but these days I try and stick to Texaco only.

I know it's more expensive but only by about £5 on a full tank and it looks after your engine better and you should see an improved mpg figure.

Try that and see if it clears the light.

Andrew could well be right. I had an EML come on in my 728i after filling it with crappy fuel from France. Could just be you got a bad batch from a supermarket or something? 2012 SDV8 Vogue SE

How much old stuff was left in the tank and how much did you put in today?

well put £70 of super unleaded in and guess what after 15 miles on comes the light again
thinking one or more of the o2 sensors must be on the way out .  1990 3.5 v8 defender

How old is your battery? Have you had it tested recently? Are you sure that the lights are the cause of your problem and not a failing battery throwing erroneous fault codes?

I don't see why the rear lights should give you faults in engine / emissions ecu's. However many incorrect faults are caused by a battery beginning to go!

I've been getting a couple on my car, catalyst below efficiency/ reduced engine performance/ gearbox fault, and yesterday the battery failed to start the car after just a few minutes leaving the key in ignition, so I'm getting it replaced to today, and I bet if fixes the fault codes.  2012 SDV8 Vogue SE
