Took these bottom grills off this morning to get them painted, Then found out one is see through and the other is fully plastic backed.

hi, my ones are the same, how did you get them out as i want to paint mine silver, has any one come accross a grill that fits below the main grill..

Daveo just slightly push down towards the ground and pull out with your finger nails in at the top 2mins ......

There must be an external temp sensor behind that grill.

Mick, if your going gloss black I would leave them in, better then getting stones hitting your water bottle and cracking it etc
