BT Openzone

Why is it so slow?
My phone keeps latching onto it when I'm out and about and each time, I try using the Internet. Nothing happens! 3G is quicker by miles.
BT seem to be so proud of this service- cant think why 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

Openzone is so crap I end up turning off my WiFi altogether when out and about, for exactly the reasons you describe. If I can't get 3G I either hunt for a Starbucks or a hotel or I give up trying to get online altogether as Openzone is so Censored .

I did wonder if I hadn't signed up for something properly (I get mine via my corporate Vodafone tariff) as every time I tried to do anything the service just hangs on the browser page.

I'm actually sort of pleased to hear it's not just me. Rolling Eyes Past (too many to list, but a few favs)...

I'm also in the 'slow as ****' brigade.

I also tend to use 3G more often than not for the same reasons as above. Si. <This is my name.

We're supposed to be able to use Openzone using the wifi data in our Orange business contract and the Orange wifi app. I've only ever been able to successfully been able to connect once, every other time, it just says I have attached to a network that has no internet connection.

Waste of bloody time, I just stick to 3G now. 2006 Mercedes CLS

I avoid them like the plague as the security problems openzone et al, create is silly and it's easier to just get an unlimited data contract Wink FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
