I've acquired an iPhone 3GS and would like to hook it up to the stereo. The car is a 2003 HSE (non Satnav) and Dension Gateways appear to be the way to go. Two questions really:

Does a BMW version work? If so, which?

If not, LR are sole supplier for all LR vehicles. Is there one available for my setup? I understand I would lose the CD changer.

Yes its possible.

Ive got a switch to change between the CD changer and my 3GS.

You still need to change tracks etc etc using your iphone tho. TDV8 HST Sport **Current**

Thanks for the info. I was hoping to be able to change tracks, etc using the steering wheel buttons as per a BMW. Guess that's not possible.

I can just about justify a Dension thing to Mrs JW911. Not sure I'll be so successful with a brand new FFRR.

Actually, as far as I am aware there are more possibilities of controlling iPods/iPhones via the car's display and controls in the BMW based cars than in the Ford based cars. Search here or google 'intravee' or 'dice' + ipod+range rover or bmw.

I upgraded to a Mk4 DVD unit which gives me the BMW screen type layout up front as the range green is so out of date!
