the original size was 205 80 16 for all Classics, a perfect alternative is as above the 235 70 16, that is the exact size I run on my Classic 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17 |

Not as far as I know. I am not aware of any tubeless rostyles off the original 2 door classic. There may though be later versions which were fitted to LR 90's in the 90's which are tubeless 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17 |

There was an alternative 205 x 16 by Firestone - rarely specced on road cars. They do, however, pop up at military disposal surplus places as they were the standard fit on the military TACR2 6 x 4 fire engines.

If you can find new 205 tyres in the correct tread pattern that are not aged then that's good to go

Good decision there, it's a usable safe option and probably the tyre which would have been offered as an option or fitted as OE if the classic was still in production 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17 |
