Maybe your fuel pump(s) are nearing the end of its/their lifespan and struggling to get enough fuel in. Just enough to not lose power but cause the juddering. Although I would expect some power loss in that case.

Ref the rear caliper - is your an '06 MY by any chance ? If so, then it'll have the TRW calipers. Both mine have had the same problem. Both cars '06MY, but neither was an SC !
