Tracing service history

I'm looking at a 2009 car through a non franchised dealer, but there's no service book. They have one invoice from 2011 and I have substantiated that with the servicing dealer (Westover Christchurch).

Previous owners were Lombard and Hitachi, so in all likelihood it's been serviced properly.

Would no service book be a deal breaker? Is there any other way to trace the history?

England 2013 Range Rover Vogue SDV8 Mariana Black

Think that'll be a difficult one as IIRC there isnt a central database as each LR dealer / group is private.

The only thing you could do is approach the lessees' and see if they have invoices against that vehicle, but I doubt they'll come forward with anything.

There are plenty of other worthy cars out there so if it doesn't feel right, just walk away or ask them for a bullit-proof warranty, but the residual value will be effected when you come to sell it on, so cost that into your man-maths Big Cry GONE 2010 Facelifted 3.6 TDV8 - Stornoway Grey + 22" Overfinch Olympus
