Potential newbie

Hi, thought it was time to join and say hello.

I currently have a Disco 2 facelift but am looking to change and a RR is top of the list. I need something that will pull a large twin axle caravan and I like my luxury and gadgets. Having looked at the various alternatives I keep coming back to RR and the full fat variety in particular. Having lurked on here a while that feeling has only been reinforced. Now I just have to find the right one within my budget, which is difficult as there's always one a little better and a little more expensive tempting you to stretch the budget!

Hello all,
Lurking, learning and looking for a while but just bought one this afternoon so time to say hi.

Just sold my XJR so seemed only natural to step up to a 4.2 SC How long before I put the SC with an upgraded pulley that the wife is nagging me to move out the hall on to it I wonder? Laughing

Pick it up tomorrow and I am like a little kid with excitement – I am a big kid at heart and so just love playing with new toys!

New ember here from Bucks...

Hi all,

Long time reader, first time poster...

Just dropping by to say hello...

This forum has saved my L322's bacon far too many times for me not to register and contribute!

Issues fixed so far are the air suspension inactive - TWICE!

First time was the height sensor cable, second time was the T joint on the compressor..fixed and pumping nice;y these days!

Overheating at idle only issue resolved by replacing leaking LPG vaporiser that was pressurising the coolant system...

Currently busy tidying up my LPG V8 in Epsom Green extensively with new wheels, supercharged brake upgrade, re-dying my Ivory leather, Walnut trim pieces, 2009 Supercharged facelift, Android touch screen head unit with DSP, paddle shifters, flip key, mud flap removal, black side tube installation, colour coded mirrors and door handles, walnut gear shifter and handbrake...etc...etc...

Turning heads already despite my wife curbing my new gunmetal/diamond cut Hawke chaytons!

Loving the plush ride and she will be like new soon!

Hi

Well I got the car now.....





Needs a damn good clean but that's not a problem. Everything seems to work fine except the rear windscreen wiper/washer - I've read the wiki so a replacement is on order. Sounds a bit of a nightmare getting the trim off the rear to access the motor though Sad
The parking sensors work intermittently - usually accompanied by a high pitched continuous tone - something not quite right there !!
Lovely car though - a million miles from the P38 I had years ago.
