And Yes its going in the far right of the screen on the dash, stuck to the black bit that doesn't come out with with the cow covered bit. Personally I look over that bit when driving, might not be so good if you look through the steering wheel when driving! Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Ok so is fuse 7 empty, without having to brave the could to see? if so I can just plug the live feed wire into the fusebox with a lucar connector, the wire to the monitor already has a fues in it. Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

You know I wondered that after I posted....not got RAVE handy Embarassed

Best use the fuse feed then - should be able to hide most of the wire under the dash top if you remove it. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

If you just undo the bolts across the top of the dash and the ones under the speaker grille you will be able to feed a wire from the speaker to the front of the dash by the windscreen, saves taking the side bits off.... Pete

Right then you lot, WHO forgot to say that you have to remove the air vents and corner trims from the dash to remove the cow covered top Evil or Very Mad
There I was happily removing bolts across the dash top, went to remove the top and it wouldn't move Confused , maybe its stuck... NO, I now remember why I had to remove the drivers end cap and the light switch.... Someone at Land Rover thought that it would be funny to put 2 screws under the end caps to make any easy job hard Censored Censored
Anyway the outcome was that I fed the wire across the top of the dash, and dropped it down the side of the govebox, and fed it into the fuse box from the nearside. This also meant that I could use the earth point under the kick panel in the passenger footwell. I fitted a 15 Amp Lucar (spade) connector and plugged it into fuse 7, and it works!
I would have used 1 of those piggy back fuse things if the monitor didn't have an in line fuse, but as it did already have a fuse fitted it seamed like overkill to have 2 fuses in the same line. The only downside to this is if a fault were to develop I will have to remove the Censored dash corner trim to change it.
And whilst going across the dash, I did contemplate the keyhole surgery wire feeding with coat hanger, and while it looks very possible, it does require a lot of blind luck to get your wire where you want it. And the way the Great God Sod has been watching over me lately, I could foresee it being a SHOCKING experience Shocked
All I've got to do now is fit the senders in the wheels, and I'm waiting for the nod off a buddy of mine to bring it up his workshop, when he's got time. Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Oh no ! I did think you knew to be honest. It's in RAVE and Pete said in the post above that it saves taking the side bits off.

Sorry chap. Took mine off as the top was not flat over the middle and the worst bit is unclipping the tags in the vents.

At least it's sorted now.

Have you pics of the setup ?

As mine have been in and out so many times they don't really lock now Smile
The passenger one is really easy to remove, but the drivers one is a wee pig, but I have now found that you can get a finger or 2 behind it when the end panel has been removed. You know to give it a bit of a shove and encouragement, like saying move you Censored
