Android head unit *updated

Hi chaps, sorry for all of the questions regarding this but I have a couple of issues I need to resolve!

I've plugged it all in due to having no amp, it all seems to be good!

However the aerial connection from the RR hse head unit is not a standard car aerial type, but the android head unit is.

How do people get around this? Do you fit a windscreen aerial and bypass the RR one?

I also have 2 separate pink wires labelled brake,

Do these need to be earthed? Or powered?

I've quickly tried the head unit but couldn't get the tv, it stated no tv whilst driving? I take it thus relates to one of the wires?

Also chaps the tv unit has a USB port, what is this one for if any knows?

Thanks in advance

Andi

All sorted, I think

Thanks hex for the advice.

I bought a fakra to ISO aerial adaptor from helfrauds, £12 I thnk.

I've also found the setting in one of the sub menus to turn off the need to have the hand brake on for the cvs player.

I just need to reassemble the dash now!

Quick update, aerial is crap, I didn't add the reverse camera I wanted too, or he usb extensions, so ...

I've ordered a usb and rica to audio jack single flush mount for the unit, aswell as a single usb extension flush mount do I can add a dongle for t'interweb, I've also got a ire less reverse camera on its way and a new aerial. The fakra one that's fitted has been mullered by previous owners adding in trackers etc ( I found two old units and the wiring for a third when fitting the head unit)

Hopefully thus will be the last time I fiddle with the unit
