Guys, does anyone know for certain what triggers this warning to come on. Mine clears with the IIDTOOL but comes straight back again but there are a couple of faults that also come back that the IIDTOOL sees but doesn't clear could it be these that cause the problem or is the warning really just mileage based? And, even if you reset it with the IID... It still knows the oil is f d sir (thats a highly technical term!) |

I was told by a salesman recently that there is an oil enzyme that deteriorates and there is a sensor on the car that detects that.

My 2p worth, even if you do low mileage like myself, still change the oil and filter after 12 months. |
