"Service Required"

Guys, does anyone know for certain what triggers this warning to come on. Mine clears with the IIDTOOL but comes straight back again but there are a couple of faults that also come back that the IIDTOOL sees but doesn't clear could it be these that cause the problem or is the warning really just mileage based? Geoff

as ^ but also the car knows how much towing it has done so if you do tow it should come up earlier ( at least I think so - MD told me that) Thumbs Up 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus

And, even if you reset it with the IID... It still knows the oil is f Censored d sir (thats a highly technical term!) Laughing

I was told by a salesman recently that there is an oil enzyme that deteriorates and there is a sensor on the car that detects that.

TBH - I thought he was full of Censored - but maybe not....

My 2p worth, even if you do low mileage like myself, still change the oil and filter after 12 months. Thumbs Up
