United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Zermatt Silver
Another one new to the forum

I have just bought a 2010 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography which will hopefully arrive on Friday. Looking forward to contributing although as this is my first RR I may have more questions than answers. Hello to you all.

Ireland 2005 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Buckingham Blue
Greetings from Ireland

Hi guys. Just wanted to say hello.
I bought my first FF RR last September. It's a 2005 TD6 Vogue in Cairns blue. I'm really enjoying it even with the few bits that needed replacing. So far I've done the front air struts, main thermostat and more recently I had to get a reconditioned GM autobox. Nothing I wasn't expecting though lol.

Happy to be here and thanks for all the useful info I've seen here already.

Pat

Hello,

I'm a member of several of Matin's forums so, having signed up to the new DS forum, I thought I would complete the job and sign up across the board! Smile

If I can ever be of any help, just ask. Thumbs Up

Hi there. My names Martin. I picked up my 57 plate 68500 mile tdv8 yesterday. 100 miles in and I have to say I'm well chuffed with it. It's my 3rd rangey, the 1st one being a J reg 3.9 vogue on LPG which was awesome, the 2nd one being an N reg 2.5 dse, manual, not so awesome, lots of suspension problems with it. I got rid of it in 2007 for a Santa Fe which I had for just over 8 years, and was probably the most reliable car I ever had. However for the past 8 years I have done nothing but look at RRs.

I have been a fan since my dad borrowed his bosses x reg 2 door one when I was a kid (loved the sliding back windows). And the gear stick was massive if I remember rightly?

I finally forgave my p38 for nearly bankrupting me and took the plunge and bought this one. It's the 2nd one I looked at the 1st being an 07 plate with 89000 miles for not much cheaper than the one I bought. Can't believe all the toys and gadgets in it. One thing it's missing is the cd changer magazine though. Are these easy to source?

I have no mechanical skills/knowledge so will probably be asking for plenty of advice or places to take it for repair service where I won't be ripped off (please)

I will post some pics when I've uploaded some.

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Buckingham Blue
New to forum

Hi Guys and Girls

Used various forums before, just purchased my first RR TDV8 2007 MY, I have read a few posts and the owners book but still not clear on a topic. Mine has the touch screen radio sat av TV etc and has a phone option which a says no phone fitted when dash button pressed. Does this mean I need to have an old style phone fitted in the armrest box to use the blue tooth setting etc or can I just override this and use my IPhone via blue tooth or will I need more kit fitted to use this option. Thanks in advance, I hope I made sense

Hi all - long time lurker here. I've owned a L322 Vogue TDV8 for 7 years now from new, and it's still going strong. I love the car, and can't see myself moving away from Range Rover.

Just starting to think about replacement options and grappling with whether to go for a new or nearly new L405. I think this forum will come in very handy.

England 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Barolo Black
Hello...I'm a newbie...

Hi all,

Actually took delivery of my first 2007 RR SC back in April, although have only just got it back after a muppet in an HGV clipped it whilst it was parked outside the house. Hoping the next few months/years will be a considerably better experience than the first 32 hours! Got to be a record in car ownership for me. That said I'm loving the experience so far.

If anyone has any suggestions of how to tackle the corrosion often seen on the exterior 'B' pillar panels, Id love to hear them.

Thanks
Jon K

Hi All,

New owner here, long time Land Rover enthusiast, recently purchased my first Rangie, an '07 TDV8 Vogue, and loving the RR experience.

The forum has been a great source of advice so far, I'm an engineer and experienced with Land Rovers so hope to learn more about this particular model and also help others if I can!

Cheers,
Nick.
