Did these June last year, you have to split the light units open first...

Third or forth post down, these are much brighter than the pic shows, it's all down to exposure...

The latest cree LED's would be brighter again.... Thumbs Up

Whistle Are but there is more Wink If you have an early L322 then just putting LED's in the reversing lights works.......... later cars.......... well we'll just say that the first go was like the brightest star...... lighting all from far and wide...... and then it all went Big Cry as it melted the leds Shocked

But as you can see problem solved, stable power has been achieved and all is bright and glowing Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

This is the full led thread http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic24889....+light+led

But as I said we found that there were issues with the voltage levels on Ian's car, 14.8 volts, which proved to be too much for the 6W cree led's that we used. To avoid lots of Big Cry and Censored Banging Head , I would strongly recommend that you test your intended led panel with the engine running (so that you are at full voltage) for about 3 minutes, before you split your lights open, to make sure that they will work with your cars voltage and that they don't get too hot Shocked At one stage we were contemplating building the worlds first led powered 12v travel iron, yes they got that hot Shocked Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer...
