no logic at all except maybe you could use the upper one as a spare for the tail/fog if that failed.. ... - .- -.

Lower bulb has two filaments 21/5w, so they are interchangeble? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Silver-TAIL-FOG-la...0860621097

I don't get why they call middle lamp a stop if higher one is a stop? Can anyone help me with this? Are they all the same?

the tail/? and the tail/fog bulbs are both BAW15D bayonet twin filament P21/5w type. ... - .- -.

Not sure if it's too much of a problem these days but always make sure your led's are sunlight visible.

I spent ages making new rear lights on my old car with twin rings of LED's then realised that when the sun was on them you couldn't see them lit, so had to unsolder them all and replace with ones that were visible in the sun. Good 10 years ago now though so as said, might not be an issue these days. Dan
