Hello to all ,
Well after lots of reading through this and other media for advice i've pulled the trigger and got my 1st "proper" car .
Its a 2004 L322 TD6 in Giverny Green with Cream interior , with the nav head unit and a "net" to separate the boot contents .

First 4 x 4 , first Land Rover product the lot !! Always liked the MK3 and picked this one up on Friday only 30 mins away from home , just spent the afternoon reading the manual and getting my head round a car with off road navigation !!
Do mostly motorway/dual carriageway driving and up to now its fantastic and i've found it ok for general driving considering the size !!

I am sure i will be boring you all rigid with "silly" questions in the days/months to come so i'll just apologise now and get it out of the way !! Photos included , its very stock and that's the way i like it , no 22's will be anywhere near it , will probably do something with the head unit as it reminds me very much of a BBC model B programming display from the good old days .

Have a read here, if you do nothing else, change the crankcase breather to an upgraded vortex one.....

Thanks for the comments , the crankcase change to vortex has already been done by the previous owner as well as recon of the torque converter , the water ingress in the LHR satnav/amp space , dash pixel fix , so fingers crossed for a while as i get used to it .

Welcome. That's my favourite colour combo for the 2003s.

Welcome - i have also just bought a giverny green 2002! The colour actually suits leaving the car standard - looks more "country set" then other colours and cant imagine it would look right on 22's!

There is an android head unit upgrade that you can do for under £300, seems to be the way to go.

Yes i have looked at the Android head unit , will certainly consider it when the time comes , although i came across this ...

Massive thanks to forum member VAZ for sorting me out with the car , a great bloke and his Landy in the garage looks really tidy too ....

That iO PLAY2 would still be a pain to install, pretty sure you'd have to connect it at the rear and run the wires forward... the Android unit does a similar thing and a whole lot more plus replaces all the expensive ICE that has a habit of failing with great regularity... Plus you can sell all your old ICE for more than the Android unit costs...  Pete
