United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 V8 Santorini Black
Hello all

Hello from a new member here in Aberdeenshire.

I fell in love with Range Rovers in June 1977. Can't remember the exact date, but it was a Saturday and I was getting picked up by my pal and his dad to go to cub scout camp in the hills around Peebles. It was of course a three door first gen range rover. It was white, tan velour inside. My family didn't have a car - and I don't think I'd ever been inside such an amazing vehicle before.

Roll the clock forward to Feb 2014 and I'm in the market for a new mid-range Discovery. As I do my usual hunting around for the best prices, I see a January 2013 registered Westminster with less than 5k on the clock for the same price as I wanted to spend on a Disco.

The rest, as they say, is history.

Currently 46k on the clock. It gets used as a daily commuter and as my shooting (deer) truck. Its had its fair share of driving up and down forest tracks, land rover tracks and occasionally off them.

What never ceases to amaze me is the sheer breadth of capacity of these vehicles.

And every day it puts a smile on my face, just as it did back in 1977!

Jim

Hi everybody

Hi everybody,
I have bought me a few mounts ago my first Range Rover (a 2007 silver 4.2SC with 99K).
I had always wanted a RR but was always afraid about the reliability and didn’t had the courage to buy one.
But since I moved from Belgium to Solihull UK (for my work), and see every day a lot of RR therefore I couldn’t resist and bought the SC.
And I love the car it drives wonderful, sits wonderful, everything is wonderful.

I am also a few mounts on the forum and love the site.
I have planned to do some improvements, modifications on the RR and found almost all necessary information with the search function.
Thanks for the great job on the forum.

Volkan

Hello all, new to ffrr ownership(5 days) and the forum. I have bought myself a 2007 tdv8 Vogue se which so far is awesome!
One or two little niggles to sort out eg two key fobs but one not lock/unlocking off the remote but it does start the vehicle??
So I am hoping that this site will be invaluable for my many years of ffrr ownership. Will no doubt speak to some of you soon.

Thanks

Phil Very Happy

-thats why i posted a quick answer, in case you thought it was all about 'today's posts' there are thousands of topics, and you can search quite specifically, almost 'rangie google'

and we are normal people. and we talk about all things. -that interest you. and entertain.

and dont be scared by the 'two bucket method' guys.......
