Be wise to get the noise inspected before you get tracking done - something may be wearing and a little bump excited it until it settled down again

Whistle did it fix your FBH by any chance Shocked And we are just talking about a Badger.. it didn't have the Scotsman still attached via a kilt, cos that would be quite a jolt to the steering Sad

But in all seriousness I hope that it didn't do any major damage....... many many years ago my Uncle hit a pheasant, or it might have been a peasant, anyway whatever it was it went through the engine grill and straight through the radiator of his 3 week old Granada Ghia 2.8 X Pack Shocked , he was very unhappy for weeks after Sad Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... And be doubly grateful it wasn't a red deer. My uncle hit one of those in his old, one of those "indestructible", Volvo estates. Wrote off the Volvo entirely. Ed

You could consider yourself fortunate that it was just the wheel. By all means get the tracking done on a hunters machine, and all four wheels aligned for about £60 at say kwikfit type centre. You could also have the front wheel spun up on a balancer machine, to check it not gone slightly oval.

A work colleague of mine was cut out of his XJS jag in the mid eighties, after he hit a stray horse at around 30 mph in the fog. Believe me, that is all you need to know about it.

Just be glad that we don't live in the wilderness, cos I've been told that if you hit one of these, on a cold dark night......
