In Microcat the valve breather is called filter assy, part no. 8510298. I wonder if it's the same as the BMW part no. 11127799224? |

My TD6 is in standard tune but doesn't smoke at all even when booting it. I'd try a fuel injector cleaner and possibly squirt some fairy liquid up the exhaust and then fill it with water and leave it a few hours to eat at the soot. Then start the engine and don't touch the accelerator.

Should have replaced with Pt No 11127799367. Updated part . Never have to replace again.

Brake fluid in the exhaust is much better. Burns the soot out but only when hot. people will think your engine has blown with the amount of smoke. |
