had my td6 '04 november 2015 and from then ive only replaced a rear caliper and the radiator fan! i keep reading on here all the faults people have with them and i think im just lucky! had it from 120k with full dealer history and now on 133k running fine! i do keep thinking about changing my car this year but nothing else seems to float my boat other than a newer one! |

Not the most inexpensive year, but not too bad overall. Front crankcase gasket replaced to the tune of £850 and a new battery required at around £120. Got the deployable steps fitted, which is a top feature and I would thoroughly recommend SDV8 AB MY 2019

I was right to wait. One day later, I had to drive down some paved lanes with a lot of mud on the road and on reaching home, the passenger side deployable step retracts and immediately deploys again, accompanied by some horrible metal on metal rubbing noises. I am hoping it is just a case of cleaning and lubricating otherwise it's back to the dealers twice (one for them to verify and once for them to do) for a warranty claim. Hey ho, at least it went twelve months of ownership without a fault if not 2016. |

The good news is that it has run fine all year and apart from fuel the only costs have been a scheduled service and MOT test, plus freeing off of all brakes and some coolant.
