I can certainly design! I haven't tried ABS just yet, my own printer is an Ender 3 Pro so I'm building an enclosure for it before trying ABS. I've done some prints with PETG which is fiddly but works okay. There's not really a limit to 3d printing sizes - there are houses being built with concrete 'filament' and just a couple of months ago, not long before lockdown, I saw a very clever setup at UCLan in Preston, where the print head is suspended off a number of tensioned ropes attached to pulleys, suspended from the ceiling. That could produce something like 3mx3mx3m, albeit slowly! |

Yes, those parcel shelf plastic pins you can (or could) get as genuine parts really easily and cheaply - I had to replace some of mine when I bought the truck.

Certainly! I'd make those from PETG which is a little bit 'softer' and often described as unbreakable, but with good thermal stability for a car interior.

I like that idea! Could you send me a photo of the area you mean? I'll have a look for the forum policy on commercial activity. |
