My rear parking sensors don't beep when I have the van on the back.

2011 TDV8
Aftermarket tow bar with 13 pin electrics.
used my IID, told the car it now has a towbar, selected 13pin electrics, selected stability assist and selected tow ball fitted.
I can't remember what software version is in my IID - but it was updated to the latest about 3 months ago.

Maybe I'm just lucky Very Happy no distracting beeping. Anything can be made to work if you fiddle with it long enough (and have deep pockets|)

My 2011 AB has a factory tow hitch, the parking sensors and rear fog lights deactivate when the 13 pin socket is connected.

So it would appear that as Gap is in Canada they cannot check a 13 pin or 7 pin electrics? All he has been able to refer me to grant me a full CCF file to make it work? which I have done and going to check out tomorrow when I connect to the caravan.
fingers crossed?
Thanks to all of you guys for your comments and input.

Alex

My sensors turn off when trailer connected.

Its been the same when it was twin 7 pin when either caravan or any trailer connected, then I converted to 13 pin with the pf jones kit and still the same. Remember:- amateurs built the ark

Glad I could help out mate, sorry I didn’t get round to checking how I did it, a trip crabbing to Conway took me out for the day, but glad you sorted it 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8
