Scotland 2011 Range Rover SE TDV8 Santorini Black

I don't disagree with any of your comments guys...just thought that as RR is more than just a mud plugger the ability to have a pre programmed height lowering at least in the vehicle set up menu that could be disabled whenever you wanted..ie off road would be a worthwhile addition Neutral

[I know what you mean. When you switch it off and select park it should:

1) Automatically lower to access height
2) Turn the headlights on (if it's dark) WITHOUT pressing a button
3) Send a wifi message to the house turning the lights on
4) Turn down the bed
5) have foreplay with wife "RANGEISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED"

Agree with Dan that this is more from the off road heratige rather than pure safety. Think it would be a great deal more inconvenient to have parked off road and do damage to the underside with this function than to have to press the button on drivers door.

With regard to not using access height when stopped, this is fine on the 2011MY and there is no mention of not doing it in the manual. So that only applies to previous years. Only comment on height change is that if used many time in short succession then the raising and lowering could take longer. Suppose any reserve in compressor would have been used.

On the wish list, I thought it did turn headlights on in dark if in auto? Mine seems too, oh and the delay can be user adjusted.

There is no noise audible when adjusting the suspension at a standstill on my car. The lights also stay on at night when in auto?
