United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black
2017 L405 ACE Drop Links/ARB Bushes

Need to replace the drop links all round on my 2017 4.4 SDV8 that has ACE.

Does anyone know the part numbers I need? I have seen two options and not sure which one applies to my car - it is fitted with the ACE anti roll bar system.

Be looking to replace the links as well as D bushes

The links themselves are common between cars with/without ACE.

Not sure on the D bushes but I'd imagine those are specific to the ACE bars.

The bushes for the ACE equipped vehicles are different - MY18-on are also slightly different again.
Its also recommended to replace the nuts and bolts

Front links LR035489
Rear link LH LR048093
Rear link RH LR166064 (was LR048092)

If you use genuine drop links IIRC they don't come with the nuts so you will need 8x FY114056 (M14 flanged nyloc) all the aftermarket ones I've seen do have the nuts.

Front bushes LR110782 (up to MY17 chassis no. HA999999 - LR048451)
Bolt 4x LR050753
Bolt 2x LR045743
Nut 4x FY112056

Rear bushes LR048462
Nut 2x FY112056
Bolt 2x LR033245

When replacing the bushes make sure the bar is clean where the bush goes else it will creak, also if someone has been at the front before you it is possible to strip the threads in the aluminium subframe where the roll bar support bolts to, repair inserts are available - DAMHIK Embarassed

That's great thanks chaps!

Will be ordering this week. My local indie will be fitting so thankfully I will be saved the headache.

Looking forward to this tightening up the front end, just trying to decide if I should do the rear at the same time

Did you do the rear?

Did you use genuine or aftermarket links up front? Genuine are $100 CAD each, Delphi are $20 CAD. Dan. 🇨🇦 2013 L405 5.0 SCV8

Used aftermarket, these are fairly common on RR’s and basic tech, so I didn’t see the need for the added OEM expense.

Used Febi, links + D bushes front and rear

Thank you. I replaced my fronts previously with Mevotech. The “may” be part of the knock return. I will try Delphi next front and rear. Dan. 🇨🇦 2013 L405 5.0 SCV8

Think Delphi are a decent brand for this application. If you can get Febi Bilstein in CA then so far so good!

I had trouble getting the previous ones to torque. I had to use vice grips on the backside collar to reach 185nM. Maybe the Delphi will be better and won’t spin all the way to torque. Dan. 🇨🇦 2013 L405 5.0 SCV8
