I've been a lurker on this site for around 3-4 years I think and a long time admirer of a FFRR.

I have zero need for a Range Rover but decided I am going to bite the bullet and get one as an additional car.

My plan is to get an older 4.2 Supercharged as they seem the most reliable. If I get hooked, then all being well, I will upgrade to a L405 5.0.

I only do 8k miles a year, spread over 2 cars currently, so petrol is the obvious choice.

My other cars include a BMW 535i Touring, Mercedes SLK55 AMG and a VW Golf 1.4 TSI (Wife's).

The Range Rover will be an additional car for now but could replace the BMW if it all works out. I really like the BMW and it was hard to find a petrol version, so I'm very relucant to sell it.

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 V8 Stornoway Grey

Hello all,
been a lurker on this site for a while and soaking up all the knowledge (fantastic wealth of information here!). Bow down
Purchased my L322 about a month ago and slowly in the process of sorting out the niggles on it, will no doubt be posting lots of how do I posts!!
I am in Coventry and wondered if anyone can recommend a good trusted independent around here? 2011 L322 Autobography - a lot of bells and some of the whistles...owner with no idea!

United Kingdom 2019 Range Rover Autobiography 2.0 PHEV Santorini Black

Hi

I am new to the brand and after promising myself that one day I would get a Range Rover I finally took the plunge.

I opted for a Black 2019 Range Rover Vogue Autobiography P400e. In my younger days it would have been a SVR but now, as I am knocking at the door of 60, power is way down on the agenda.

Had the car for two weeks.

Tinted front windows - standard a tad too jarring against the darker rears
Red Calipers - standard looked a bit tatty
Scorpion X immobiliser - just a layer of security for peace of mind
Front and rear cams - constant proximity cam watch

Enjoying so far and if the weather was warmer I would get down to some serious detailing.

Look forward to reading other owner experiences.

Russ

Hey all,

My name is Jamie and I am considering taking the plunge into RR ownership.

Currently have a B7 RS4 and a F20 M135i ... but I need something bigger!

Hope to find something suitable on these forums ... and look forward to referring back to the forum when things start to go wrong Smile

Just saying Hello,

Currently own a Tdci Defender 110 and wife has a late FL2 but looking to get an L322 4.4 Tdv8.
My Defender is undergoing a full rebuild with BMW N57 335d engine and 8hp gearbox but won’t be ready for some time . The FL2 is 190bhp but just not enough to comfortably tow a decent trailer or pull our Caravan on the big hills in Devon, hopefully the L322 does a better job.

L322

Hello all. Have owned 6 various RR models in years gone by and miss one of them very much! That was the late model L322 4.4TDV8, way better than all the others including an L405.
Am looking to re-invest (!) in a 2010-12 final facelift L322 4.4 again (am in the market if anyone thinking of selling) and thought it a good idea to join the forum to help with any "issues". Will no doubt be in touch...

Hi there. Thanks for adding me to the group. I am on RR number 4. Had 2 RR and 2 RRS. Currently have 2018 RR LWB 5.0SC and 2019 RRS 3.0SC. I’m from the UK but now live in California. Flying the British brand! Although expensive to upkeep and not known for their reliability but we still love em lol. Hope everyone has a great day
Tony

Hi All,
Thanks for allowing me aboard, I’ve only recently bought my first RR V8 4.4 (2011) so I know I’m going to be “haunting” the site quite a bit 🤣

I’ve already availed myself of the legendary “Bodsy” mega flush. I first used his services 6 years ago and I have to say he is a first class gentleman, mine of information and a true professional.
Thanks once again Ian👌👍

Hi I have just joined the range rover fraternity having bought myself a lovely 2017 range rover 4.4 stdv8 autobiography facelift. I have had BMW, Mercedes, for years but got hooked after having a test drive in one. I'm also rebuilding the same engine in a 2013 car and I'm looking for any new parts to rebuild. I anyone can help, or supply new parts I would be extremely grateful. I also would be interested in any upgrades that would benefit the engine build. I'm looking forward to having a long relationship with my newly obtained car and any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Boom, I'm here...... now lots of questions to ask!.

I've got restricted performance issue and I'm fairly sure it's the wiring loom for the diesel rail.
I ve ordered new repair loom, and downloaded the texh bulletin ltb01083.... but has anyone done or seen a video of it being done ( I hate electrics and have no confidence doing it).

Cheers in advance
