England

Just put a new rear prop shaft on and still have the rumble I was trying to eliminate. Just close to 100K on the Westminster.

Scotland 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Fuji White

Figured out a way to stop the leading edges of the roof trim on both sides lifting and whislting in the wind at speed after the neanderthal that replaced the screen broke the retaining clips. Why would Land Rover make the plastic screws that hold it in place be hidden behind the headliner ?

Greased the self deploying sidesteps, cleaned the MAP sendor again and replaced the glovebox light, fixed the broken rear dashcam mount. Fuji White 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westmiinster

Scotland 2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

Finally managed to wash my new acquisition for the first time since I got it.

My initial plan was to “de-black” it but it’s kinda growing on me and my family like it, so……

And yes, the headlights are the facelift variety, as the car is a MY17

Scotland 2013 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Firenze Red

Took my folks home from NE to Central Scotland. Usual 3hr journey became 5hrs, making full use of off-road and extended off-road height practicing/honing wading skills through some of the worst flooded roads I've seen in 30 years. My 83 year old mother is now a FFRR convert! Very Happy

Got it dirty with some very light off roading on the way to a winter walk in Hertford Forest with the Mrs and kid.

All the best for 2024 to you and your cars.

Fitted new discs and pads in the front today, also fitted a new membrane to the PCV/oil separator on the 3.6. Pads and discs easy, coated all surfaces with ceramic grease to reduce bonding in some places and reduce friction on the wheel nut/washers.
No, I did not put that stuff on the wear side of the pads ! Laughing

Taking out the PCV valve was a struggle for real as I didn't want to drop half of the coolant.
It would have made the job easier but I couldn't be 4rsed.

All the best for the new year peeps !

Oh, I test fitted the snow chains and it's a doddle with these.

Went for a drive today to bed in the new brakes a little.
Nice outing, with a urban cross axle but thrown in Laughing and a view across the Rhine which is about 10 as wide as usual because of the last 2 months of rain here.

My missus loves the car !

I sorted the front end of mine with some eBay sourced letters.

The price from LR was prohibitive, and notwithstanding that my eBay ones are not "curved" and/or may not be model correct ... I think they look great.

Had to search on here for the positioning, as mine came with no guide.

32mm ish from the bottom of the bonnet lip to the bottom of each letter.

90mm ish between the E of RANGE and the R of ROVER.

Went off roading. Did about 6 miles of forestry tracks and 4 miles of particularly degraded mine road. The forestry tracks were passable by a normal car, but the mine road definitely needed a decent 4x4.

Monaco 2012 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Ipanema Sand

Drove the "Beast" up the Coastal Alps to check for snow. Fun drive from Monaco to Casterino passing through Sospel Casterino is about 1600m above sea level just above the village of Tende. A very pleasant drive and managed to get some off road driving in the snow. Very Happy Wink
