Sudden Error and Fault Codes - Random Appearances

My first real post here, so apologies for the very long start here.
You guys on here seem to have a great knowledge and support, which I have been very thankful for in learning lots from in the past.

I am not sure if this problem has been covered in previous posts, I have searched far and wide, but I guess I could be using the wrong syntax, or only getting half the information.....also, my issues may be a combination of more than one symptom.

My December 2015 registered (although ECU reports MY16) FF Vogue L405 3.0 TDV6, with only 69k miles has begun to throw loads of random faults and error messages - then clears them.

Over the last couple of months, it randomly popped into limp-home with a message on the dash - sometimes suspension, others gearbox etc......

Cleared after a restart and did not keep them in it's memory for later analysis.

Last month had a DPF regen and went limp home.
Cleaned MAP sensor, refitted, all tickity-boo...., even the DPF regen showed well below the 6 level when I kicked off the manual regen on the OTOFIX, so no filter clean or replacement needed.

Have previously seen regular Suspension alerts or other random alerts.
STOP/START was not also working previously.

I fitted brand new battery - exact same spec and manufacturer as factory fitted (which it replaced).
Used a very quality battery tester and made sure the charge is holding, the CCA is v good, as expected.
The OTOFIX shows 14.7 voltage with engine idling/running and STOP/START is working properly.
Even on the cold morning, battery shows at least 12.3v before starting, then once started, it is up to 14.7v.

These would all normally clear once I stop, turn off, then restart the car - no limp home, no other faults and the OTOFIX D1 Lite would not find any faults in the memory - all had cleared on their own.

In any case, I thought maybe the terminals were loose from when I changed the battery, so I took all out, cleaned with electrical/contact cleaner, refitted battery, no errors, told the car it had a new battery again through the OTOFIX - left it to rest for a day or so...... all great.

Yesterday - SWMBO'd took the care for a drive in the -5c temp, had a great drive no issues.

Parked up overnight.
I started the car today after -8c degrees freeze overnight - it was like Christmas had started again.

Park Brake Fault
Stability Control Not Available - Drive With Care
EBD Fault
Emergency Brake Assist - Not Available
Tyre Pressure Monitoring - System Fault
Only Normal Height Available
Gearbox Fault
Adaptive Dynamics Fault
HDC Not Available System Fault
Water In Fuel - See Handbook
ABS Fault

I do often notice rich exhaust fumes when first started.......but that clears up when warm.
I have noticed that when I look for the oil level on the service menu, it says 'not available', even if it is cold, or has been standing for the required amount of time.

Took for a quick run down the road, stopped, engine off..... restarted - nothing cleared this time.

This link goes to the latest OTOFIX error report.

Does anyone have any ideas or direction?
Previously, the main dealer in Reading could not get any errors on their system, said they need it for a number of days to diagnose...!!!
Someone mentioned ABS/Speed Sensor - but which one?
Change them all?
I am at my wits end.

Many thanks in advance.

*************Update********************************
Just went to check the oil - it is now reading and returning the full, after resting.....

Then started..... no alarms or error.....

Stopped engine.

Looked at the Service Menu, Last Alert = Panic

Then it was Christmas again!!!!!
They all returned.....

Check if you have a headlamp out when in fault condition, if so, I'd definitely say earth point under front wheel arch, whichever headlamp is out , it'll be that side earth as there is one either side. L405 SV Autobiography LWB SDV8, finished in Aston Martin China Grey by ETO division.

I checked the earth, put 13mm spanner on there and pop, sheared itself without and effort.

I have now drilled and mounted a new earth point, cleaned the spade terminals and bolted together onto the chassis.

Faults have cleared......will see if they come back again...as they may be lulling me into another false sense of security...

I will update tomorrow.....now gotta get the O/S inner arches back in......

Thanks for the link above....I would never have looked there.

Started and moved the car today, no errors or fault codes.

One post and hopefully straight to resolution.

Thanks "fingers crossed" to the genius members who deciphered my issues and especially le25dse - who knew exactly where to point me.

This has to be the best forum ever!

Maybe worth checking the other side as experience says if one's failed then the other won't be far behind! L405 SV Autobiography LWB SDV8, finished in Aston Martin China Grey by ETO division.
