I did that originally with no success, I believe there's a break in the wiring somewhere further info the car. I want to remove the wiring as far back towards the binnacle as possible ... |

Hi.
I've turned off the pad warning bong with my iid tool but am still left with the exclamation mark on the dashboard. Somewhere on the car is a wiring fault and I want to just cut out the pad war ... |

Well my new maf gave pretty much the same readings as my old one but I left it on, 200 miles later the lights stayed off so I think problem solved.. thanks for all ideas  |

I can't actually reset adaption on mine either. iid will only do 2006+

New Maf giving essentially the same readings as my old one. Still hunts when you try and hold low revs around 1000rpm.
Approx 24 mgh on tick over / 600 rpm
Others same as above pretty much.

Eml is off still. I thought it made a difference cleaning Maf but with hindsight the slight change in numbers I got was more likel ... |

73+ vat off my mate at CAF 
I've just cleaned it right up, now getting 18 mgh!
Also found a tiny split in a vacuum line in inlet. Also cleaned throttle body.
Going out in it now so fingers ... |

Lights just come back on. My torque app shows from cold it going from 'open cold ' to ' closed on O2 ' , however my iid says it's not on closed loop so that's thrown me a bit.

PCV valve and pipework replaced last summer. Just checked around for air leaks, can't see any unless the inlet manifold gasket is gone?
