managed to get some range rover oem bushes for the top arms from left over stock, £150 for 4 which nis a steal compared to LR with £120 for 1, replaced all those.

well double update, still nothing from LR.
breakers seem reluctant as well because the hub needs to come out to get to it. |

unfortunately for me the discs are more or less dead and scrapped 
but a breaker got back to me today, £40 they said, so if they are in good condition ill be buzzing |

another day another headache, it seems LR dont actually have the brake disc shield.

woah thats unfortunate.
i mean these ones aren't really known for a snapped crank tbh.
maybe oil pressure/oil pump issues instead? i guess would oil starvation lead to a snapped crank?

edit: i accidently deleted my original post, id written something that more or less went like
the meyle bushes are M16 bolts rather than M14 like stock.
using the HN1 and HB5 from here

I tried my best with a 4 lbs hammer and specific fork but this thing did just not move at all ... |

tbh out of all the jobs ive done this is the easiest.
get the tool, get a right rachet spanner and get a pole that can go around it. |
